His name had been cleared by the Government for this top post but as the Board of India's
biggest state-run enterprise was due for reconstitution, he took over in February only as
the company's Chairman. The Board of Directors has a revised structure from April 1.
The revised structure consists of five whole time directors, including CMD, two
government nominee directors and seven independent directors. The current position of
Director Human Resources is held by Mr VM Chamola and that of Director (Finance) by
Dr AK Mishra, Mr S Subrahmanyan who was Managing Director (MiG Complex) is
now Director (Operations). The position of Director Engineering and R&D will be filled-up
soon.
“The re-constitution is done considering the growth of the Company in the next two
decades. This will also ensure extensive delegation and strengthen our management
system”, observed Mr Raju, who has been responsible for major aircraft and helicopter
development programmes in the recent years.
The posts of Managing Directors have been discontinued. The Company now has four
Chief Executive Officers (below the Board level). They are Mr V Sadagopan, CEO
(Helicopter Complex), Mr R Kaveri Renganathan, CEO (Bangalore Complex), Mr
Daljeet Singh, CEO, MiG Complex and Mr Rajiv Kumar, CEO, Accessories Complex.
